Validation of 24-Hour Dietary Recall for Estimating Nutrient Intakes and Adequacy in Adolescents in Burkina Faso

This newly published article describes a validation study of the 24-hour recall method in adolescents 10-11 y and 12-14 y of age in Burkina Faso against whole-day weighed observations.  While both age groups underestimated nutrient intakes by 24-hour recall, the degree of underestimation may be acceptable for the 12-14 y old adolescents.
